Electric Vehicle Firm Will Expand in Dixon
A Palo Alto-based developer and marketer of drivetrain systems for electric vehicles is expanding its operations in Dixon. Efficient Drivetrains Inc. said it has added a second research and development facility, tripling its Dixon operations to 12,000 square feet. Company CEO Joerg Ferchau said the company employs 18 but anticipates hiring several more this year. Ferchau said Dixon “supported and believed in us since our startup days back in 2008, and we are excited about opening a second center here. This will accommodate our growing engineering unit, which has doubled in size.”
